Terms & Conditions

Heather’s Helping Hand LLC

Welcome to Heather’s Helping Hand LLC. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the concierge and personal assistance services we provide. By using our website, requesting services, or entering into a service agreement with us, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these terms.

1. Our Services

Heather’s Helping Hand LLC provides personalized concierge and lifestyle assistance designed to make everyday life more convenient, comfortable, and manageable.

Depending on the service selected and the terms of an individual service agreement, services may include:

  • Personal assistance and concierge services.

  • Errands, shopping, and appointment coordination.

  • Companionship and social engagement.

  • Light household organization and assistance.

  • Meal planning and meal preparation.

  • Other agreed-upon nonmedical assistance services.

All services are subject to availability, the agreed-upon service plan, and applicable laws and regulations. Not every service is available to every client.

2. Non-medical Services

Unless expressly authorized and provided under the appropriate professional license and service arrangements, Heather’s Helping Hand LLC does not provide medical care, nursing services, medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency medical services.

Our concierge services are not a substitute for licensed healthcare providers, home healthcare services, or emergency assistance. Medication assistance, personal care, transportation, and other regulated activities will only be offered when legally permitted and appropriately arranged.

Clients who require medical or emergency assistance should contact the appropriate healthcare provider or emergency services.

3. Scheduling and Appointments

Services must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate client preferences and scheduling requests.

Specific appointment times, service durations, and recurring schedules will be confirmed between the client and Heather’s Helping Hand LLC.

We reserve the right to reschedule services when necessary due to illness, emergencies, severe weather, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify affected clients and arrange an alternative time when possible.

4. Fees, Packages, and Payment

Service fees will be communicated to clients before services begin. Fees may be based on individual services, hourly rates, or agreed-upon monthly packages.

  • Clients are responsible for paying the fees outlined in their service agreement.

  • Monthly packages, included service hours, and any limitations will be specified in the applicable package description or service agreement.

  • Additional services outside a selected package may incur additional charges, subject to prior agreement.

  • Purchases, supplies, parking, admission fees, and other expenses incurred on a client's behalf are the client's responsibility when approved.

  • Payment methods, billing dates, due dates, and any applicable late fees will be disclosed in the service agreement or invoice.

Any recurring billing arrangement must be authorized by the client. Applicable refund, cancellation, and payment-dispute rights will be honored as required by law.

5. Cancellations and Changes

We understand that plans can change. Clients should provide as much advance notice as reasonably possible when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.

Any cancellation deadlines, fees, missed-appointment charges, and package expiration or rollover rules will be disclosed in the applicable service agreement before the client commits to the arrangement.

Heather’s Helping Hand LLC will communicate changes to scheduled services as promptly as reasonably possible.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients, or their authorized representatives, agree to:

  • Provide accurate information necessary to arrange services safely.

  • Communicate relevant preferences, limitations, and service expectations.

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the location where services will be performed.

  • Secure pets when necessary and disclose known safety concerns.

  • Make timely payments and reimburse approved expenses.

  • Treat employees and representatives with courtesy and respect.

We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or discontinue services when a situation presents an unreasonable safety risk, involves abusive or threatening conduct, or falls outside our agreed-upon services, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations.

7. Home Access and Personal Property

When services are performed in a client's home, the client is responsible for providing agreed-upon access instructions and communicating any applicable property rules.

Keys, access codes, and other entry arrangements will be handled with reasonable care. Clients should notify us promptly of any changes to access permissions.

Clients should secure cash, valuables, sensitive documents, and other personal property when appropriate. Nothing in these terms eliminates any responsibility imposed by applicable law for loss or damage caused by our negligence or wrongful conduct.

8. Safety and Emergencies

The safety of our clients, employees, and representatives is important to us.

If an emergency arises during a service visit, we may contact emergency services, an authorized emergency contact, or another appropriate party as circumstances and applicable law permit.

Heather’s Helping Hand LLC does not guarantee that emergencies, accidents, illness, falls, property damage, or other unforeseen events will not occur. This provision does not waive any legal duty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Third-Party Services

Clients may request assistance coordinating appointments, deliveries, transportation, contractors, or other third-party services.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, independent third-party providers are responsible for their own services, qualifications, conduct, and performance. We cannot guarantee the availability, quality, timing, or outcome of services provided independently by others.

We will remain responsible for our own obligations as required by law.

10. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect the privacy and dignity of our clients. Personal information shared with us will be handled with reasonable care and used for legitimate business purposes, including coordinating services, communicating with clients, processing payments, and maintaining business records.

We will not knowingly disclose confidential client information except as authorized, as reasonably necessary to provide services, or as required or permitted by law.

Additional details about the collection and use of website information should be included in a separate Privacy Policy.

11. Website Use and Intellectual Property

The content on this website, including text, photographs, branding, logos, and other materials, is owned by or used with permission by Heather’s Helping Hand LLC unless otherwise indicated.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Heather’s Helping Hand LLC will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from website use or services, except where such damages cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Any additional limitations relating to specific services must be consistent with applicable law and the client’s service agreement.

13. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate a service arrangement in accordance with the applicable service agreement.

Outstanding balances, approved expenses, cancellation obligations, and any other rights or responsibilities that arose before termination will remain subject to the agreed terms and applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate services when reasonably necessary because of safety concerns, nonpayment, material breach of an agreement, or circumstances that make continued service impracticable, subject to applicable legal requirements.

14. Changes to These Terms

Heather’s Helping Hand LLC may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this website with an updated effective date.

Changes will apply prospectively as permitted by law. Material changes to an existing service arrangement may require separate notice or agreement.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute will be handled in a court with proper jurisdiction, subject to applicable law and any valid dispute-resolution provisions in a separate service agreement.
