Heather Kohn
Founder
Heather is the founder of Heather’s Helping Hand, a personalized concierge and lifestyle support service created to make everyday life easier, more comfortable, and more enjoyable.
With a background in nursing, reception, restaurant and retail service, and activities director, Heather brings compassion, organization, professionalism, and a genuine desire to help others to everything she does.
Heather’s Helping Hand provides dependable, personalized assistance designed around each client’s individual needs—giving clients and their families peace of mind, convenience, and a helping hand they can trust.
Outside of her professional life, Heather enjoys traveling, reading, exploring the arts, and spending time with her beloved animals. She values the inspiration and perspective that travel brings, the knowledge and relaxation found through reading, and the creativity and beauty of art. Her deep love of animals reflects the same compassion, patience, and genuine care that she brings to both her personal life and her work with clients.
Jenn Piacentini
Team Member
Jenn is a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with 27 years of experience, bringing extensive knowledge, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others to Heather’s Helping Hand.
Her commitment to overall well-being is reflected in her love of yoga, healthy living, and maintaining a positive outlook. Jenn takes a personalized approach to supporting others, combining her professional nursing experience with warmth, understanding, and a sincere desire to help each client feel their best.
Outside of her professional work, Jenn enjoys volunteering with local animal rescue organizations, reflecting her caring nature and compassion for both people and animals.
With her experience, positivity, and caring spirit, Jenn is dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the clients she serves.
Melissa Lisk
Team Member
Melissa is a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant with specialized experience supporting individuals living with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. She approaches every client with patience, kindness, and respect, taking the time to create a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment.
Before beginning her career in caregiving, Melissa spent 20 years working as a Registered Dental Assistant in a variety of dental specialties. This experience strengthened her attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to provide thoughtful, personalized support.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and pets, crafting, and traveling. Her caring nature, extensive experience, and dedication to helping others make her a valued and trusted caregiver.
Teresa Douthit
Team Member
Teresa is a dedicated and dependable professional with experience in personal assistance and nursing support. She brings a strong background in home management, organization, cleanliness, nutritional meal planning and preparation, and maintaining a household efficiently within a schedule and budget.
